Accommodation Options

La Posta de los Toldos Lodge

 

Located in the Cañadón Pinturas Portal, the La Posta
de los Toldos lodge offers nine rooms (double, triple, and quadruple) with private bathrooms, inviting common areas,
and a distinctive gastronomic experience featuring
homemade and regional dishes.

Motorhomes

Located near the La Posta de los Toldos lodge, the El Mollar campground is well-equipped for visitors traveling to the park via motorhome. Guests have access to individual parking areas as well as a common indoor area with heating, bathrooms, showers, and a living room. Given its proximity, many visitors staying in El Mollar opt to reserve dinner at the La Posta de los Toldos lodge.

Patagonian Yurts

Located in the La Señalada campground, the yurts offer an accommodation option for travelers seeking a more immersive nature experience. Designed for comfort and simplicity, each yurt accommodates up to four people and includes the choice of sheets or sleeping bags. Meals are not included but can be purchased from the La Señalada provision store.

Where should I stay if I want to…?

The Cañadón Pinturas Portal features over 50 kilometers of self-guided trails of varying difficulty, winding through impressive canyons, plateaus, and steppe landscapes. Visitors can stay at the La Posta de los Toldos lodge or at the La Señalada, El Mollar, La Confluencia, and Al Río campgrounds.

Hike

The rock-climbing area is located in Caracoles Canyon within the Cueva de las Manos Portal, which has a campground. If you prefer to be close to the indoor climbing wall at the Interpretation Center and Planetarium, the La Señalada campground, just a few meters away, or the La Posta de los Toldos lodge, a short drive, are convenient options.

Climb

The La Posta de los Toldos lodge is the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure, offering comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, welcoming common areas, and a unique gastronomic experience featuring homemade and regional dishes.

Relax

The trails of Cañadón Pinturas allow you to discover an astonishing variety of native Patagonian animals and plants. Many trails begin near La Señalada campground. Guided wildlife-watching excursions also depart from the La Posta de los Toldos lodge.

Watch wildlife

From La Señalada campground, you can access the Cueva de las Manos archaeological site on foot. Guided excursions to both Cueva de las Manos and Alero Charcamata also depart from the La Posta de los Toldos lodge.

features an observatory, a sheltered gathering space for viewing
the night sky.
For interpretive projections of the Patagonian sky offered at the
Interpretation Center and Planetarium, visitors can walk there in a few minutes
from La Señalada campground or drive from the La Posta de los
Toldos lodge.
